AND NOW FOR SOMETHING FUN! For a number of years, I have collaborated with a good friend to create custom animated Holiday Greetings for the boutique litigation firm of Lowe Fell & Skogg LLP. Each year, I meet with the key decision makers to develop a theme and then we create a storyline and shot list. We spend a couple of days onsite - directing the subjects to act out the scenes while shooting thousands of green screen-backed still images. The images are processed into stop-action style animations and eventually we produce a short video for the firm to send out to clients in mid-December.

 

Over the years, the LF&S Holiday Greeting has built quite a following, with attorneys getting peppered with questions about what to expect for this year's greeting and when they will see it. The project is also highly anticipated by the partners and staff and has become the firm's primary team-building excercise for the year.
